Our center’s symbol represents an amalgamation of “mind, body, & soul” which is the root of “yoga” derived from the Sanskrit word "yuj" meaning "to join”. Here the mind represents the conscious and unconscious thinking, the body is the external and internal physical aspects and the soul means the emotional and spiritual well-being. Keeping these three aspects in view, our services include yoga classes (beginner to advanced level), meditation sessions, yoga therapy sessions, ayur- yoga therapy, and many more.
Iyengar yoga descends from Hatha yoga, named after B.K.S Iyengar, developed around 80 years back.He came up with this style of yoga because he wanted to promote yoga for all and make it accessible to everyone.

When I was recently visiting India on vacation, I decided to learn yoga for the first time. Being an interventional cardiologist, I have long advocated to my patients to indulge in some form of relaxation technique which will help manage stress.I had heard about the many benefits of yoga and I wanted to try it first hand.I found the perfect teacher in the form of Ms. Shubha who customized... a 2 week yoga teaching program for me. It was wonderful to learn the basics of yoga and be enlightened about the scientific reason behind each of the asanas. Yoga practice gave me a fresh feel everyday. Was able to work on asanas with ease within a few months.Thanks to my instructor Mrs. Shubha, who helped me to understand the differences of each asanas, it benefits and its role.I was not aware of using the bricks or chairs and other props for yoga, which i learnt to apply well now. I am practising for almost 5 years now and feel my body is flexible for my age.
I was suffering from varicose veins in both my lower limbs. In January 2022 ,the veins condition in my left Knee got really worse. I was advised with injection sclerotherapy or if required stripping of veins surgery for the same. But I visit Mrs Shubha, who assured me that she can help in getting rid of problems( pain, swelling, heaviness of limbs) caused due to varicose veins . Within 4 to 6 weeks I was pain free. I started yoga few years back with Shubha. Over a period of time I started realising the benefits of doing yoga regularly. Shubha is a passionate yoga instructor/therapist, similarly Varsha and Ramesh are equally dedicated tutors at Sampurnahyogashraya. Tutors help in doing asanas in the right way. Benefits of various mudras, asanas,breathing techniques etc are discussed during the class.I always look forward to my class. Recently I attended MSRT, its a great meditation method to relax your mind.
My knowledge of yoga was limited to surya namaskar till I started learning under Shubha. She introduced me to the real meaning of yoga. The best thing about learning under her is that she explains the basics really well. She will point which muscle or point the given asana effects so you know if you are doing it right or wrong. Even in a group session she has always ensured personal attention and has guided me as per my issues. I have learnt to love yoga as a way of life because of her teaching style.
